Fall Containers & Baskets

Fall, is our favorite time of year, great weather without all the interruptions (rain) and inconsistencies of spring weather.  And how can you beat the fragrances of all the flowers and leaves turning color.  Fall Containers are much easier to care for too.  The heat is gone so plants do not need so much water and what better way to get some color in the yard
during those gloomy winter months.

Fall Vegetables

Fall Vegetables are some of the easiest to grow and you can provide your family with high quality delicious foods.  Foods you grow at home are freshly picked, so they do not start breaking down their own stored nutrients to stay alive on a grocery shelf.  This way they will retain they nutrition and flavor.  An added bonus is it good for the environment; less strain on farm land, less chemicals, less fuel use (not just yours, but also the farm equipment and delivery trucks), etc. 
Why are Fall Veggies easy?  Most of the work is done by Mother Nature.  The winter rains water them and the cold induces them to produce sugars and flavor.  All you have to do is prep the soil, plant them, fertilize, and some water until it rains.
